This is the easiest of all the books to start on.

It has full colour photographs at every stage of every design.  It shows how to use the system to produce 12 different types of Cut Fold and Tuck Designs using the Circle Scribe Basic Toolkit.  These designs are broadly similar to Lacé or Inciré which originated like many other paper-crafts in Holland.  Generally a series of cuts are made in the card and the tabs created are folded back and tucked under the previous one.  The control of the blade using the disk compass is far more accurate than using templates or stencils and the resulting end product is far neater especially on those curved cuts.  The pressure required on the blade holder is far less so no more aching hands.  Book £5.95

The 71 minute DVD covers the same ground and obviously makes the learning even easier.  Full use is made of DVD capabilities which give you the option of using your remote control to select which design you want from the title screen, zoom in when you want, repeat a chapter, and pause when you want to catch up.  We’ve included enough information to make this your starting point with the toolkit and we give on-screen text to support what Richard (As seen on TV) is saying in his direct but comfortable manner.

DVD Now just £9.95

No additional Tools are required other than the Basic Toolkit and in fact Cut Fold and Tuck designs are the easiest way to start using the Circle Scribe Toolkit because the repetition involved ensures you remember all the learning points as you progress and along the way you are producing some fabulous cards or scrapbook pages which look a lot more complicated than they appear (or are you just getting good?).

The process is easier than using templates where the blade tends to snag on the edge of the template.  There is no problem cutting the toughest card because the Circle Scribe system is designed to cut mount board up to 2 mm thick!!!

For each type of card you can change the size of the design and sometimes the nature of the design by using holes in the disk different from the ones suggested once you have understood the basic principles.
